We're back!

After a week away in the Catskills- and on the last day Amy managed to gash her leg, so we've been on leash walks for a week since she came back while the stitches healed. They are so happy to be back in the woods!

80° already and another hot one on the way! Trying to get in an early walk before it gets too crazy (and we have to pay to get him here.).

Another day when it's too hot for sidewalk walking, so we've come back for a quick run around the short loop before I have to jump in the shower and go to the synagogue. 

97° but feels like 100+.

It is just too hot to walk around the sidewalks in Rye, so we've come back to the woods just to do the short loop because even though it's crazy hot, at least this is in the shade and not on boiling hot tarmac! 

Currently 98° but feels like 102. No headphones, just me and the girls.

I have my annual performance review at lunch time today so we are out early to beat the heat and will hopefully be able to come back again this evening after it cools off a bit. 73. Now I'm going up too close to 100 later.

85 and sunny, and it's going to get hotter and hotter as the week progresses! I'm going to try and do sidewalk walks first thing in the morning before the tarmac gets too hot and then come to the woods at lunchtime/afternoon when we can walk in the shade and the dogs can go in the water.
