We didn't get anywhere near as much snow as they predicted, and it's mostly slush now.

Cool and grey, 37F. We've done the full, long loop as it's Wednesday tomorrow, so that must mean... yes, 10-16" of snow.

Listened to John Oliver's Marlon Bundo book on Audible- yes, I've ordered a hard copy too :) but that's only 7 minutes so now I'm listening to Hamilton. I've been entering the lotteries every day for tickets- it's the only way I'll be able to afford to see it!

A guest in the woods today, we've got Kate's dog Malloy as she's still feeling a little under the weather and he needed a run- I'll put pictures on the main blog.

Out for a morning walk so we can get it in before the snow starts. It's sleeting and 35F now, but they're still forecasting 6-12".

... but it's all supposed to change tomorrow! 46F and sunny with a gentle breeze today, and we're due for 6-12" of snow starting late tonight.

Crisp has come along for my first sunny walk with the Enchroma glasses- still nothing amazing to report, it just seems like someone has turned up the saturation a little (but that may be wishful thinking). Not that there's much other than brown to see in the woods at the moment really.  I will have to keep trying.

Just picked up my Enchroma glasses, but as it's pretty grey today I'm not seeing much difference yet... I did notice how green the highway signs are on the way here though...

First Sunday with the new boss done, and it seemed to go very well!

I have seen about a dozen good size trees down, 3 or 4 across the trail, and lots of little stuff. I'll post pictures on the main blog.

No book or music, enjoying listening to the storm blow itself out :)

The calm before the storm... It's 54F and overcast with a bit of a breeze, but it's supposed to get cold and rainy and very windy over the next 24 hours as a nor'easter moves in.
