A nice walk after a fun day out on the Circle Line with Mum and Dad. First proper fall-feeling walk... still a bit warm, 66F and humid, but windy with leaves and nuts falling all over the place :)
Just the short loop today as I have to pick up Mum and Dad in 25 minutes for our big early family dinner tonight :)
They had a good flight back from Virginia Beach, jet-setters that they are!
Cool and breezy, but a bit more humid again, 67F. The birds are very loud today for some reason...?
Starting The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt at Dad's recommendation.
They're in the air and should be landing in about 3 1/2 hours :)
Warm and slightly more humid, but not uncomfortably so, 67F with a nice gusty breeze.
Finished the first Dexter book yesterday, so just random music as a bit of a break...
A tad warmer, but still quite nice, 82F.
Listening to the recording of the last time Ruaraidh and I did our version of Peter and the Wolf as we're doing it again in October and I need to start relearning the timing (one of these days I'll learn to read music).
Warm and a bit sticky, 85F.
Spent the morning ripping the deck of the back of the rectory (to find that it will need to be completely replaced). But after this walk I shall take a quick shower and then we're invited to go and enjoy the Heffernan's pool :)
Dexter makes his first kill.
A late walk for a day off, had to wait for Jackie to get home from work as we'd swapped cars for the day so I could finally get spare keys cut for the new one (and not pay the $90 the dealer wanted!).
Not as warm and a bit of a breeze, 79F.
The man find a flare pistol.
