A lovely day, sunny and 60F :)

First picture on this blog with the new phone, a MotoG3.

Pocket and Kent meet three odd witches.

Note- Had to post this from home because the picture file from the 13MP camera in the new phone was 9.1MB! Too big for Blogger to handle as an email. I shall have to see if another camera app will produce files of a size it can handle.

Happy St George's Day, and happy birthday Mr Shakespeare!

A very nice day for a walk in the woods... Mostly blue sky with a few puffy clouds, a light wind and 64F :)

It must be the weather, but I have seen at least half a dozen snakes on the trails in the last week- 3 of them today! They've all slithered off quickly at my approach, but I don't remember seeing this many any of the previous years we've been coming here.

Music as I'm between books-
Yellow Submarine
The Beatles

Sunny, breezy and 43F.

Saturday, April 9, 2016

Soggy Saturday

Back in the woods as Holly was starting to look seriously depressed and was showing no sign of the limp. So... short loop today with no tennis ball and we'll see what happens.

Cool and wet, it's not sure whether to rain or sleet, so it alternates between the two, 37F.

Away teams and killer robots.

Wednesday, April 6, 2016

Lunchtime walk today as I have to get Crisp ready later so we can go to the Scholar's Dinner :)

Cool and breezy, but sunny and mostly clear too, 39F.

The new ensigns get acclimated to the ship.

From a very cold morning (22F) it's turned into a nice day, 38F and sunny.

Finished the Haden's Documentary and so am on to a new book- another John Scalzi also read by Wil Wheaton... "Redshirts", a sci-fi parody on Star Trek and the short life-span of the extra members of an away team.

Monday, April 4, 2016

Pissing down and quite raw, 37F. Posting this from the car at the end of our walk.

25 years of Haden's.

Rain last night and this morning, but we have a respite now, in fact we're getting occasional glimpses of sunshine, 50F.

More Hadens Documentary.

Friday, April 1, 2016

And we're back...

... probably earlier than we should be, but we're just doing the short loop and I didn't bring a tennis ball.

Warn and a bit humid, 74F with sunshine and a nice breeze.

Finished "Lock In" (very good), now listening to the included "Haden's Documentary".
