We're back! Amy had her stitches out this morning and is feeling so much better! I'm still going to try and get her to take it easy (ha!) but you can tell she's so happy to be back here!
Just a quick run around the short loop so Faith feels like she's been out. Unfortunately, we were a little early letting Amy out in the woods, she is not healing quite as fast as we had hoped, so she's going to have to stay on leash walks for another few days at least.
Still no news from Amazon about Amy's chest protector, so she's wearing her harness for now, but she seems to basically be back to normal. Thank goodness!
Thank goodness Amy is feeling better, so we're doing the short loop in the woods just so she has a feel of being here. Amazon has completely failed to deliver the chest protector they were supposed to deliver yesterday, so she's wearing her winter coat for now to protect her wound.
Just me and Faith as Amy spiked a fever yesterday and had to go back to the vet, and this morning was no better so she's at the vets as we speak, being given fluids and hopefully getting better! I have to admit to being slightly worried.
Just the short loop today as we've brought Amy along as she was so depressed at home not coming out. I've put her in one of her winter coats to protect her chest, until the dedicated chest protector I've ordered from Amazon arrives.
Back in the woods after a couple of days off because of Amy's injury (see the main block if you don't know what I'm talking about). Just me and Faith today, I felt awful leaving Amy at home but she needs to heal properly before she goes crazy out here again!
A lovely sunrise walk with the girls (well it would be sunrise if it wasn't so gray and cloudy) before the craziness of the day. Cloudy, drizzly and 44°
