A very pretty day, 43F and sunny. We didn't get any of the threatened snow last night, and it's warm enough that it's mostly soft and wet now making me wish I'd brought my snowshoes.

Cool, 36F, and grey and snowing gently, though I don't think we're going to get the 2-4" they were predicting for tonight.

After the storm

We didn't come out yesterday because of the awful driving conditions, but today the roads are clear and the woods are all white. It's cold and windy, 24F but 7F with the wind chill, and the sun is trying to break through the thin clouds.

I didn't bring my snowshoes as I don't want to over stress Holly's legs in this deep snow with a breakable crust of ice on top.

Snowmageddon Eve

Quite a nice day today, 33F and it's been mostly sunny. It sounds like tomorrow will be another story- a possible 20" of snow and blizzard conditions! All the schools are already closed tomorrow (including NYC) so it would appear we're in for it. And I don't have to shovel it :)

Sunday afternoon

We're back after a couple of days off. Holly seems much better so we're​ just doing a gentle there and back on the lower trail where it's flat.

Cold and windy, 24F but 10F with the wind chill. We'll see what comes​ of the promised snowmageddon on Tuesday :)

A lovely, sunny evening. 56F and almost no wind to speak of. I'm walking in shirt sleeves but we're supposed to get 3-5" of snow tomorrow, and then more in a big storm that'll blow through next week!
