A dark day

A beautiful full morning, windy, warm, and sunny, 59°. In contrast to my mood which is very dark after waking up to the worst possible news of the election. Fuck!

Listening to three episodes of The Archers to try and take my mind off things.

A simply gorgeous day, 55° and sunny and very seasonal and beautiful. 

Our drive here was somewhat mod by over a mile of Trump idiots blocking the other side of 95, so our conversation has been understandably political.

A lovely morning for a walk, sunny and 47°. But a busy day ahead, monkey has a funeral to do and I have a bar mitzvah which will all be followed by an outdoor evensong this evening!

An early walk with both doggies this morning, sunny and cool and 38°, though it was almost pitch dark when we started.

A little cooler, 43°. Somehow when somebody texted me this morning Holly got separated from us and I've just spent 10 minutes chasing along the lower trail to run up and meet her at the bridge as she somehow got herself onto the upper trail coming back towards the parking lot. But we are now reunited and thank goodness for her satellite tracker!
