Busy day off: I've emptied and refilled the dishwasher, cleared off the kitchen counter, had a haircut, done all my and the boy's laundry, booked the cat an appointment for her shots at the vet, ordered a moto 360, watched the pilot of the Gilmore Girls, mailed Crisp's contact and computer permission forms to the school, am half way through walking the dog, and will go home and fold laundry, empty the dishwasher, shower and change and go upstairs to do a wedding rehearsal with Colin... Phew :)

Hot and still sticky, 84F but feels more like 90F. Hopefully we'll get the thunderstorms we've been promised for tomorrow to break the humidity.

Warm again, 83F, and still quite humid.

CJ had his first day of school today and is not happy to have come home with 4 sheets of homework :( Oh well, hopefully he'll get back in the swing pretty quickly.

Back in the woods after our scare with the bees/wasps yesterday, Holly seems fine :)

Labor Day

Hot and really humid... 83F but it feels like 95F! After a fun afternoon grilling at Jody's, and now a walk in the woods, I can't wait to get home and jump in the shower!

Holly is not going to be happy she's home, she had a wonderful time in Vermont swimming in the pond and roaming around the woods and fields around the cabin. But home we are and back in the woods :)
