Another crazy hot, sweaty day. Only 78° now, but going up to 96 with a heat index of around 110. So we're out early again in a bid to beat the heat, but I'm dripping with sweat and will need a shower!

Back in the woods a second time today, just to do the short loop to top off the dog's steps. It's just too hot for them to walk anywhere on a sidewalk! 94F right now but feels like a 105!

Torpid Tuesday

An early walk this morning to try and beat the heat, the heat index is already 80° and it will be well over a hundred later! Quite humid but some early sun right now.

91°, but feels like a 102! We've come out at lunch time today, as this morning I decided to do our sidewalk walk so that the ground would not be too hot, at least in the woods there is some shade and a stream or two for the dogs to cool off in.
