What a weird feeling. I can't believe Dad's gone but part of me is glad that his suffering was so short. There's an amazing outpouring of lovely messages on Twitter, and I'm listening to him read to me as I walk around... The first of the Jack Frost books.

A lovely way to take a break from my enormous to-do list :) sunny and breezy and 56F.

I had to give up on Dune, it's a very complicated book and I kind of remember why I never finished it before. I have too much going through my head this week and it really wasn't helped by the version I got from Audible that has a narrator for most of it, but occasional scenes with a full cast- so you get two different voices portraying the same character. Too confusing. So I'm listening to the Beatles instead.
