I've switched my hours at work from 7:30 - 3:30 to 9 - 5, this is going to be a huge advantage as we go into the fall and winter as I'll be able to walk Holly in the mornings when it's light rather than in the dark after work :)

I mentioned the AT to Jackie, and she actually suggested that I take a week and try doing a section :) I think it's a bit late in the year to do it this fall, but I very well might think about doing it in the spring!

Vermont was wonderful, but I think Holly's actually quite glad to be home. While we're away she's with us all day and I do some pretty intense hikes, at home she spends most of her day just hanging out and goes out with me after work. She's also 10, which is not to say she's old, she kept up with me on all of our hikes this week, but I think she's looking forward to getting back in her old routine :)
