However it's that unfortunate time in the woods when, for a week or so, there are tiny caterpillars hanging from silk all along the trail. If you don't want them hitching a lift on your shirt (or worse, in your hair) you have to keep your wits about you!

Gorgeous day, 75F and sunny with a gentle breeze, and there are lots of people or enjoying the woods today.

Holly came home on Thursday with a bit of limp on one front leg, so we made do with a leash walk yesterday to make sure it wasn't anything serious. She shows no sign of it today, but I'll leave the tennis ball in the car for a couple of days to be sure (much to her disgust).
