Friday
Not sure why this didn't get posted on the right day- some kind of email glitch I guess. Damp and 43F.

Sunny (ish) Saturday
A nice day, mostly sunny and breezy, 38F. But they're forecasting 6" of snow tonight!
Chatting with Crisp about the possibility of turning her fantasy game ideas into a book.
This is also the first walk with Holly's activity tracker... I'll post the results in the main blog.

Rainy Friday
After a whole day of "Safe Church" training it's nice to get out in the fresh air, even if it is raining.
Wet and 52F.
The Fipo-Lions and the villagers defeat the Eagles.

Ash Wednesday
A busy morning running around with Crisp and then "smudging" the rectory. I have to get back from this walk, take a shower and then do two services this evening.
Warm but grey, 47F.
Generation 3; Higgs and the fipo-lions.

Shrove Tuesday
Another lunchtime walk so I can be around for the pancake supper later.
Sunny and nice, 35F, though the trails are muddy.
Generation 2 and interesting finds.

Monday
A nice afternoon after an overcast morning, 44F with watery sunshine.
An earlyish walk before going back to the church kitchen to cook 25lbs of bacon for tomorrow's pancake supper!
Joining forces with the east vinegar.

Even Soggier Sunday
We had torrential rain earlier, it's tapered off to just moderate now but the woods are a soggy mess- I sink in a few inches every step. 51F and rainy and foggy.
I found a new book- it's a sci-fi novel about colonising a planet with intelligent plants- Semiosis by Sue Burke. Seems pretty good so far :)

Soggy Saturday
I was hoping we could beat the reason, but sadly no ;)
Cool and rainy, 45F.
Crisp is telling me all about her D &D game.

Icy Friday
A bit later than usual, and the trails are mostly just ice- I'm very glad I put on my crampons! Cool and gray, 33F.
Listening to a very interesting album of interviews and demos I found on Google Play by Jilted John, who had a one-hit-wonder song in the late 70s that takes me back :)

Thursday
A quick lunchtime walk as I have a meeting later at our usual time. Sunny and bright and 32F. The trail is mostly frozen but not enough to be a pain.
Jazz today.

Another snowy morning
As it's my day off we've come for an early walk in the snow. It's supposed to turn to freezing rain later and if much rather walk in the snow than in the rain :)
Already starting to turn a bit sleety, 31F.
Misc. classical music, which seems to suit the weather.

Tuesday
Cool and still, 35F.
Watched the Space-X launch before we came out- fucking amazing!
Listening to a Google "radio" station in their "World" section called "Modern Middle Eastern". Can't understand a word but it's very nice :)

Soggy Sunday
It can't decide whether it wants to rain or drop soggy sleet, so it's doing both, 39F.
Listening to old, Scottish standup.

Saturday
Cold (!) But the windchill has died down from overnight and now it's 31F with just a light breeze.
Chatting with Crisp :)

Frigid Friday
I suspect I may have shaved my beard off a little earlier than I should... it's 24F but with the wind it feels like 10F! Nice and sunny though, and the mud is frozen underfoot, so it's not all bad ;)
Still haven't picked a book, so just music (Lily Allen right now).

Thursday
Kind of a blurgh day, gray and cool and thinking about raining, 42F.
I'm just listening to music as I finished the Trump book yesterday and haven't chosen anything else yet. I have no idea how much of it was true, but it does make you realize that this administration has gone from catastrophe to catastrophe that would have brought down any other, but for some reason rather than being cumulative each one has seemed to just expunge and replace the one before. Fucking crazy and rather worrying about how far this is going to be allowed to go :(
