A bit cooler than yesterday, 58F, but windy with occasional sunshine.

Just finished listening to the BBC Dirty Years On that I started listening to yesterday. There is a lot I hadn't heard before (this was the full play and I guess Dad's LP was highlights), but also a lot I suppose they edited as it was the 70s and it was Radio 4... "That belongs to me and you've no right to touch it!", and just a hint of " The Dogs They Had a Party "in the background (the version I still hear in the back of my mind whenever I lead a procession to " The Church's One Foundation").

And it's surprising how many phrases I use without thinking come from here... "What is truth and what is fable, who is Ruth and who is Mabel", and "Sunday is for tinned peaches and washing the car " for example.

So I'm very glad I heard that WS piece about TE Lawrence and was led to find and listen to this :)

A quick lunchtime walk as the boy had his first orthodontist appointment this afternoon.

Cool but still sticky, 59F, with occasional drizzle.

Cool, 64F, but the much-needed rain we had this morning has just made it very humid.

Dany feeds the poor and must get married.

Friday off

Another nice day, sunny and 69F.

However it's that unfortunate time in the woods when, for a week or so, there are tiny caterpillars hanging from silk all along the trail. If you don't want them hitching a lift on your shirt (or worse, in your hair) you have to keep your wits about you!

Lovely day, 77F and sunny, shame I'm not in the mood to enjoy it :( I woke up this morning work some kind of tummy bug and now I'm dehydrated with a splitting headache.

A latish walk for a Saturday, after a very busy day- New York Altar Guild and a funeral. A nice evening though... 62F, still and sunny.

Not warm, but quite humid today in the woods, 53F. Had a blast this morning flying my quadcopter at the soccer field (see the other blog for video)!
