Still playing with Google Music, I may never buy a CD again! The only slight downside is that it seems to use quite a lot more battery to listen to streaming music rather than what's stored on the phone's SD card (which would make sense), we'll have to see if it's enough more to mean I can't get a full day...

Listening to a "radio station" on the new Google Music All Access. It's very cool and I think I may have to cancel my Pandora subscription - this replaces Pandora, Spotify, and removes the need to have tons of music stored on your phone :)

First listen through the new Vampire Weekend album - so far I like it a lot, it's got their college band exuberance and tongue-in-cheek but there's also a new maturity as well. Nothing has jumped out at me the way Mansard Roof did the first time I heard it, but I'm only about 3/4 of the way through and there are already 3 or 4 songs I'm looking forward to hearing again...

An expensive day off!

$330 on Jackie's car this morning for brakes and stuff, and another $370 this afternoon on mine for belts and a battery- and we're still waiting for a price to fix Jackie's a/c, probably another $800! Oh well, better to get them safe and reliable rather now than end up on the side of the road some night!
