We had torrential rain for most of the day, really crazy amounts! But it's gone now and the sun was even out for a while, 55F.

What a difference afterthe last couple of days- today is cold, grey and windy,  41F but it feels much colder. Forget shorts, I had to break out a hat and gloves.

Busy day with a funeral etc. earlier (including the fun of a false fire alarm during the reception), and we have a pledge thank you event at the rectory this evening.

A lovely day off, but the snow was a bit of a surprise- we actually got about 5" even though it's melting quickly. Right now it's 41F with mostly cloudy skies.
