A quick lunchtime walk in the snowy woods as Crisp and I have to go to the Bronx this afternoon.

Cold and snowing, 29F but colder in the wind.

A very nice, seasonal day. 41F and breezy, mostly sunny and brisk.

Busy day, just grabbing a few minutes between an altar guild luncheon and a taize service.

With learner permits and dentist appointments and stuff the last couple of days we haven't made it to the woods since Monday, so I came out for a lunchtime walk to make sure we got here today :)

Warm and partly sunny, 52F.

Listening to the WS and President Douchebag's childish tweets to Mexico (good for Mexico for cancelling!). I've got to stop doing this, it's not good for my blood pressure.

I wish I could have gone to Washington, but I am wearing my pink pussy hat and Holly and I are being our own small protest march around the woods.

A much nicer day for the marchers than for twitface's inauguration yesterday, 46F and sunny.

A nice quiet day off. Lunch with the Sesays and now a nice stroll in the woods. Cool and mostly cloudy, 40F.

A nice, still, sunny and cool afternoon, 40F. We had a dusting of snow last night, which has just iced the scenery as if with confectioners sugar.

This is an odd bunch of recordings, there is nothing on the Audible app to mark the change from one to another, and some have credits and some don't. We've just finished Two in Torquay and are now in a wonderful long rambling monologue by Bennett describing Thora Hird's last radio recording in Studio 7 at Broadcasting House.

Colder again, 28F, and all the mud has frozen. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a snow shower later.

Tepid Thursday

What silly weather... 63F and quite windy, a few spots of rain a few minutes ago, but nothing to really speak of. 

Holly has graduated to a new, slightly smaller, brace that finally arrived from Germany. It seems to still give her ankle/wrist the support it needs, but is a bit less stiff and heavy than the other one so I think she's a bit more comfortable :)

Warmer Wednesday

Silly weather! It's 50F and I'm out in my shirt sleeves :) Most of the snow is gone but the ground is still pretty frozen... it'll be a muddy mess by tomorrow though.

Frigid Sunday

Beautiful but very cold- feels like 7F!

It's kind of surreal to be walking through this freezing landscape white listening to Gielgud wax lyrical about motoring down to Kimber on a midsummer night to hear the nightingales.

Holly loves the snow and is toasty and warm in her Ruffwear coat.

I finally finished the Arthurian legends- a bit of a slog, but I'm glad I did it. Now I've found a nice compilation of 12 BBC productions of Alan Bennett plays, and first up is Forty Years On.

Thursday

Cool and cloudy, 30F. We're supposed to finally get some snow tonight, but of course we have a funeral in the morning so I won't be able to come and play in it. 

It's only taken 32 and a half hours, but Arthur is finally dead!

The must have been an awful lot of resolutions made last night and this morning- I have never seen so many people out in the woods! We'll see if I see them again next Sunday ;)
