Fuck it's cold! 14F, but 5F with the wind chill. I can't think of anything worse than going to Times Square tonight!

And there are are not as many people out as I was expecting, but maybe it's to cold for them ;)

We had a brief flurry of snow this morning, but now it's sunny and cold and quite windy, 36F.

Lots of families out walking today, but I predict that tomorrow will be even busier as people have to get a break from their families ;)

Later than usual and it's getting quite dark, so just the short loop. Warm though, 41F, and mostly still.

Trying to take a day off as tomorrow is Star Guild decorating day, but it's a busy day of doctors appointments for Crisp and trying to get all the last minute stuff done (and I wish work would stop calling me!).

The sun is just setting and it's gotten quite cold, 27F, and there's a bit of a gusty wind too. A little more snow this morning so it's very pretty :)

Nately's whore finally falls in love with him (this book is a little (!) sexist, but I feel it must be read through the glasses of history, like you do with Tom Sawyer).

Tuesday

Back after a day without a walk yesterday. I was laid low with some sort of horrible food poisoning and had no energy (and had to stay close to the throne!). Thankfully I seem to be almost fully recovered today so we've come out for a lunchtime walk.

Warmer, 46F, so most of the snow has melted.

Day 2 of a very busy weekend. We sold out of Christmas trees before lunch, did church, set up the parish hall for the dinner tonight, and now we get a few moments peace in the woods before going home for hopefully a short nap before we have to go upstairs for the Advent Dinner :)

I had to rethink the early morning walks when I realized that the sun was not rising until 6:50, and is only getting later every day until the solstice (Dec. 21). Oh well, at least on days off and weekends we can walk in the sun :)

Got pulled over by the cops on the way here for a broken taillight, luckily it's a fixable summons so once it's fixed I just have to get any cop to sign off on it and send the summons in.
