Back at work and church this morning, then a very nice visit to the Frick with mum and dad, now a nice walk :)

Friday

Last day in the woods for a week as we head to Vermont tomorrow :) Mum and dad are in great form, so this is going to be lots of fun!

Finished my book, so I'm flicking around my library on Google Play Music and listening to the first episode of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- it might be fun to listen to this in the car tomorrow.

Also christening my new Keen hiking sneakers I grabbed from the clearance rack at LL Bean today :)

Warm and sunny, 79F, still a bit sticky though... let's hope it's a little cooler in Vermont.

Thursday

Getting excited because I'll be leaving soon to go and pick up mum and dad at the airport, and as of 29 minutes ago I'm officially on vacation :)

Still quite warm, 83F. I'm actually looking forward to being cool enough to need a sweatshirt in the evenings next week :)

Still warm and sticky, 86F, but either it's a tad less humid or I'm getting used to it.

A little cooler, 88F, but I'm still sweating. Holly is without her cool coat, but still send quite cheerful :(

Not quite as hot as yesterday (91F with a heat index of 100F) but still warm enough!

Even hotter... 92F with a great index of 107F!

I am drenched in sweat, but Holly (in her cool coat) is very comfortable and is looking expectantly at me and waiting for me to throw a ball for her!

Crazy weather! 93F, but figure on the humidity and it feels like 103F.

Holly is, of course, quite comfortable in her cooling coat :) while I am sweating to death!

Just the short loop today as we're a bit later than we'd like coz of various shenanigans at the church involving water mains (don't ask).
