Tuesday

Back in the woods after a day off. We went up to Ossining yesterday with Colin to meet and collect his new rescue dog Maggie (the shelter called her Abby, and for a while she was going to be Abbey, bit this morning Christie announced she's going to be Maggie).

A bit late today coz they came to do the start up for the new AC system in the nursery school- a weird day to do it considering it's only 45F and been raining on and off most of the day.

Robert is too fat for his armor.

Sunday afternoon

Cooler and mostly cloudy, 56F.

Fairly busy in the woods today.

The description of all the courses at the Hand's Tourney feast make me quite hungry :)

Saturday

Rain this morning but it's turned into a lovely afternoon, the odd cloudy moment (like now), but mostly sunny and 62F. Long loop today to enjoy it!

Busy morning after a fun night playing games with Colin and his friends last night :) looking forward to an afternoon with my feet up ;)

Spent the morning filling out forms to renew my passport and green card (very expensive!).

Easter Monday

The church is closed today so we can all recover :) So I'm out in the woods with my macro lens taking my annual shots of buds and little flowers ;)

A beautiful day, 63F and sunny with a gentle breeze. Everything at the church is as ready as I can make it- just the Vigil tonight and then the cattlemarket of tomorrow morning to get through ;)

Good Friday

A busy day with much solemnity at church... a moments decompression with the dog in the woods and then back to clean up a bit before the altar guild come in to do their work tomorrow morning.

Maundy Thursday

Everything is ready back at the Church, so we have a moment to to relax before the intense activity of the next 3 1/2 days. I shall cherish the moments I have out here in the woods as little oases of calm ;)

Weird weather... we had below freezing temps overnight and woke to show on the ground. It's warmed up a bit now (43F) and the snow is gone and the sun is out, but it's supposed to get cold again tonight.

Another warm one, 68F and kind of sticky- I had to break out the shorts :)

Holly is so happy... I've brought out the tennis ball for the first time in a month. So far so good, she seems fine and went for a dip in the steam to cool off, but we'll take it slowly until I'm sure she's fully back to normal.

After enjoying the Veronica Mars book while walking the dog I still had a free credit with Audible, so I'm giving book one of Game of Thrones, read by Roy Dotrice, a try. 35 hours should keep me busy for a while ;)
