Warned up a bit, 35F, but overcast.
The Alan Davies Show
Tree
We got a quick, unexpected 1/2 inch of snow overnight, which was a pain in the ass this morning, but it's gorgeous now- sunny, bright and 18F.
Double Violin Concerto in D Minor
50 Essential Classical Film Moments
Colder, 16F, but quite bright and pleasant.

-but quietly so I can enjoy the crunch of my hiking crampons in the ice :)
It was quite nice for a while earlier, the sun was out and everything. But now the wind has got up and the temperature is set to plummet again. 28F and grey right now.
Dead London
Jeff Wayne
War of the Worlds
Up to 26F but we're supposed to get another inch or so this afternoon and tonight.
Middle Eastern Medley
Bela Fleck
Solo Banjo Works
All the way to 18F!
The good thing about the cold though is that there's still enough snow to snowshoe in :)

Jim Gaffigan
Doing My Time
The temperature is up to a balmy 16F, but without the wind it feels much warmer ;)
Paperback Writer
The Beatles
Mono Masters vol. 2
Just the short loop today after about 7 hours clearing snow at the church. Cold, 10F!
Yesterday Holly had to make do with a tennis ball in the Rectory back yard and was a bit lame after, we think she twisted an ankle. She seems much better today, but I'm being careful.
What Goes On
The Beatles
Rubber Soul
Quiet and still weatherwise, 38F, but the forecast is calling for snow and very cold again in the next few days.
The Lion and Albert

Avenue Q
Original Broadway Cast
We had a bout of wet snow earlier, but it's given way to watery sunshine, 34F.
Just the middle loop today as Holly will get lots of exercise this evening as we are going to dinner at the Heffernan's and will take her along to play with Violet and Sparrow :)
Baretta's Theme
TV's Greatest Hits
A touch cooler, 37F, but still dry.
You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (1965 stereo mix)

A bit later than I'd like, but still light enough to chase a tennis ball ;)
Cool, 43F, but the trails are a bit firmer
If I Needed Someone (1965 stereo mix)
The Beatles
Rubber Soul
Warm, 46F, and pissing down. The trails have now reached the "Oh shit, give me back my boot!" stage :)

Another warmish one, 47F, and the trails have gone from squishy to squelchy :)
Caprice no. 24 (Paganini)
Angele Dubeau
Infernal Violins
Much warmer, 54F, so all the snow has mostly melted. Gentle drizzle now, apparently we're in for some serious rain later.
Take What You Take
Lily Allen
Alright, Still
Just the short loop as I now have to get back to clear the nursery school sidewalks and we have a funeral this afternoon. Cold and sleeting, 28F.
No music, enjoying the soft silence :)
Very cold and bright, 5F but -17F with the wind chill!
Just the short loop today so Holly's paws don't freeze :)
Prologue
Into The Woods
Original Broadway Cast
This morning at 7am it was 52F and most of the snow had melted, right now it's 38F and falling, tonight we're supposed to get down to 0F with wind-chills around -20F!
Candyman
The Grateful Dead
American Beauty
Strange weather- we had pouring rain this morning, but as it was below freezing and the ground is so cold it froze on contact and the snow has a thin, shiny layer of ice on it. It's warming up a bit now, it's reached a balmy 30F!
Carnival of the Animals
Fossils
... of the woods.
Yesterday the entrance to this side of the woods was still completely unplowed so with nowhere to park we had to go and do the loop on the other side, by the pool.
Today we're back on this side on perfect snowshoe snow in bright sunshine, though it's still quite cold, 21F.
No music, enjoying the crunch of the show :)
Just a dusting of snow overnight, enough to make it pretty, and 23F.
Tonight we're supposed to get about 8"and blizzard conditions with temps well into the negative numbers. So Holly and I came out to do the full loop on the assumption that tomorrow we either won't get here or I'll be on snowshoes :)
Ghost Town
The Specials
The Best of ...
(Quite appropriate as we have the woods completely to ourselves)
First walk of the new year, much like the last walk of the old one :)
Cool, grey and 29F. But the weather is supposed to change tomorrow... much snow and we may get into the minus numbers.
