Simply a lovely day in the woods!  62F and sunny with a gentle breeze :)  Lots of families out for a walk too.

Careful Friday

I know Holly is supposed to be limited to on-leash walks for another day or two, but she was looking at me with the soulful brown eyes and it's such a lovely day (50F, sunny and breezy) that I couldn't resist coming to the woods.

She's not limping at all, but we're still only doing the short loop and NO tennis ball (much to Holly's digust).

No music as my ear-buds are in the little car and Jake and I swapped today so I could take recyclables to Playland.

This morning Holly woke up very lame in one of her back legs, in fact
she wouldn't put any weight on it at all. I couldn't find any cuts on
her paw or anything so I took her to the vet to get it checked out.
The vet couldn't find anything, and said none of her joints was
swollen or anything either, so he said it was probably a sprain. He
said we should stick to on-leash walks only for the next few days, so
we just walked to pick up Crisp from school this afternoon, but she
seems to be putting weight on it better already :)

Cooler again today, 51F, but the woods certainly appreciated the rain! The greenery has thirstily absorbed it and has leapt ahead with abandon in just 24 hours :)
