A full family walk :)

Good Friday

A walk between services, with Malloy along for good measure :)

A bit windy, great and 57F.

Crisp and more Warhammer.

Wednesday

The last day before it all really kicks off with Maundy Thursday tomorrow ;)

A bit warmer with some watery sunshine and a light breeze, 50F.

Starting a new sci-fi adventure, Infinite by Jeremy Robinson. Pretty good opening.

Tuesday

A late walk after a trip into the Bronx with Crisp, so just the short loop. Cool and grey, 42F.

More random classical- I really must sit down and course a new book!

Monday, March 26, 2018

Monday

A nice day, sunny and 46F.

I was listening to some random classical music, but Jake and Crispy surprised me by arriving doing the loop in the opposite direction :)

Palm Sunday

A bit cooler and grey, 43F and breezy.

A very successful Palm Sunday service this morning to kick off Holy Week, now we just have to get through the rest of it :)

Random mellow music (She & Him right now).

Saturday, March 24, 2018

Saturday

A quick walk between Church events, warm and sunny, 47F.

Crisp is telling me all about the movie she saw last night, Pacific Rom 2.

Friday, March 23, 2018

Friday

A quick walk before I'm off to play photographer at the Nursery School fundraiser.

Warm but mostly grey, 47F.

Random stranger on the bridge, so Crisp did not want to pose there.

Thursday

What a lovely evening, 48F with a light breeze and lots of sunshine, I'm here in shirt sleeves :)

We didn't get anywhere near as much snow as they predicted, and it's mostly slush now.

Just finishing Hamilton.

Wednesday, March 21, 2018

Another Wednesday...

... another snowstorm.

33F and coming down nicely, we're supposed to get about a foot by the time it's over.

More Hamilton.

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Tuesday

Cool and grey, 37F. We've done the full, long loop as it's Wednesday tomorrow, so that must mean... yes, 10-16" of snow.

Listened to John Oliver's Marlon Bundo book on Audible- yes, I've ordered a hard copy too :) but that's only 7 minutes so now I'm listening to Hamilton. I've been entering the lotteries every day for tickets- it's the only way I'll be able to afford to see it!

Monday

Another cool and sunny day, 45F, but a bit less windy.

Misc music on Google Play Music, time to choose another book :)

All four of us and all five of the Sesays :)

Cool and breezy, 40F, but lots of sunshine.

Another nice day, 46F and sunny with a nice breeze.

Chatting with Crisp about Warhammer (a game she just got at Modern Myths).

Yesterday and today...

Here are a couple of pictures from my 5D with my super-cheap Starblitz 28mm FD lens :)

Friday

A lovely, cold, sunny afternoon, 37F with a lively wind.

Steveland on trial.

A bit grey now, it's was lovely earlier, 45F.

Chatting with my daughter :)

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Wednesday

A nice walk with my camera and just the one dog :)

Cool and a bit breezy, 40F, with some occasional watery sunshine.

Using Eagles to finish off the Glassmakers.

Tuesday, March 13, 2018

Tuesday

A guest in the woods today, we've got Kate's dog Malloy as she's still feeling a little under the weather and he needed a run- I'll put pictures on the main blog.

Cool and windy, 39F, the snow they forecast never really appeared.

No music or book as I have to keep an eye on a dog I don't really know (he's being very good though).

Monday, March 12, 2018

Monday

Grey and cool, 42F. And guess what? We're due 2-5" of snow tonight!

Glassmaker orphans in revolt.

Sunday, March 11, 2018

Sunday

A lovely afternoon, bright sunshine, a gentle breeze and 42F. Lots of families are out taking advantage of it :)

Skyping with Mum for English Mother's Day.

Saturday, March 10, 2018

Saturday

A bit great and dreary, but I've been taking a few pictures of the stream (check the main blog to see how they came out). A light breeze and very occasional peeks of sunshine, 40F.

Trying to domesticate the Glassmakers.

Friday, March 9, 2018

Friday

The sun has finally come out and I forgot my Enchroma glasses :(

Low sunshine, quite windy and 41F.

More conversation with Crisp.

Thursday, March 8, 2018

Thursday

The snow is already melting, but it was the heavy, wet kind.

Mostly grey and 38F.

Chatting with Crisp about the intro to her new D&D game.

Wednesday, March 7, 2018

March Snowmaggedon!

Out for a morning walk so we can get it in before the snow starts. It's sleeting and 35F now, but they're still forecasting 6-12".

Amassing a plant army of druggists.

Tuesday, March 6, 2018

A beautiful day...

... but it's all supposed to change tomorrow! 46F and sunny with a gentle breeze today, and we're due for 6-12" of snow starting late tonight.

Crisp has come along for my first sunny walk with the Enchroma glasses- still nothing amazing to report, it just seems like someone has turned up the saturation a little (but that may be wishful thinking). Not that there's much other than brown to see in the woods at the moment really.  I will have to keep trying.

Monday, March 5, 2018

Monday

Just picked up my Enchroma glasses, but as it's pretty grey today I'm not seeing much difference yet... I did notice how green the highway signs are on the way here though...

Grey and breezy, 40F.

Glassmakers attack.

Sunday, March 4, 2018

Sunday

First Sunday with the new boss done, and it seemed to go very well!

Cool and windy and gray, 41F.

There are a surprising number of people in the woods today... Maybe if you got no power a nice walk warms you up?

Glassmakers coming.

Saturday, March 3, 2018

Saturday

The day after the storm, cool and still quite windy, 45F.

I have seen about a dozen good size trees down, 3 or 4 across the trail, and lots of little stuff. I'll post pictures on the main blog.

No book or music, enjoying listening to the storm blow itself out :)

Thursday, March 1, 2018

Thursday

The calm before the storm... It's 54F and overcast with a bit of a breeze, but it's supposed to get cold and rainy and very windy over the next 24 hours as a nor'easter moves in.

Burying Roland.
